Roger Garrett

Roger Garrett is better known as Gomer. He lives at the End of the Pavement. Gomer has lived around here all his life and is a real mountain man. He has a way with animals, even snakes. Right now he has chickens, pigs and dogs to keep him company when no humans are around. Gomer knows these mountains around here like the back of his hand. He can lead you to a ramp patch, if you're willing to walk a ways and can keep up. Hey, Gomer, is that a hole in your glasses?

This is a recent photo of Gomer with his dogs. They love to ride in the back of the truck. Gomer is a carpenter and woodsman. He has an artistic side. Just look at his birdhouses! He won't admit it, but he is the life of the party. We all laugh with him when he pulls off some crazy stunts. Hey, Gomer, don't trip over that Horseshoe stob!
