Frank Rogers at the End of the Pavement
By Janice Boling

Frank Rogers was a regular at the End of the Pavement.

He was a generous man with a big heart.

Frank was a good father. He took his girls everywhere. They grew up at the End of the Pavement, Bill Bowers Cove, and Trout Camp.

Frank and his girls

Mitzi, Frank, and April

Frank's daughters drove him around when thier feet could just barely reach the gas pedal.

Frank and Tim at Bunker Hill

Frank Rogers and Tim Kirtley

Frank and Tim were at Terry and Judy's apartment above Bunker Hill Store. This was probably the first time I met those guys.

Frank Rogers with a beard

Frank always had a smile.

I was working in Florida with Richard when word came that Frank had passed away.

His girls gave me some of his ashes to sprinkle in the Gulf of Mexico - there were even a couple of teeth in the jar. Frank loved to travel so ending up in the ocean was appropriate.

Gene Rogers in blue denim

Gene wore a blue denim shirt.

Gene was Frank's brother and we saw him now and then.

Frank just shaved

Frank with a fresh shave

Frank kept his mustache but shaved the rest of his face. He was a handsome man.
