Martin at the End of the Pavement
By Janice Boling

Martin was a regular at the End of the Pavement.

He was handsome, smart, and a good person.

Martin seemed mysterious until you got to know him. Then he was a regular nice guy.

Martin was a tall fellow with long legs. He was clean cut, a good cook, and loved horses. He even canned his homegrown vegetables. Not many men attempted that hot summertime chore.

Martin played horseshoes at the End of the Pavement every chance he got. He was always willing to help with whatever needed done. Martin was outgoing and never met a stranger.

Martin and Tammy brought these two white horses to George's party. They gave all the kids a ride! This was the highlight of the day for these youngsters.

Richard and I used to visit Tammy and Martin at there place near the End of the Pavement. We would play cards and socialize.

Tammy made these delicious treats one evening. She spread peanut butter on Ritz crackers and dipped them in melted chocolate. I could have eaten them all but everyone else wanted me to share.

See picture of the kids riding horses on Tammy's page.
