Diane at the End of the Pavement
By Janice Boling

Diane was a regular at the End of the Pavement.

She had a smile that lit up a room -- or the horseshoe pits.

Diane loved to play horseshoes and she was good at it. She was good at whatever she set her mind to do.

Diane and Candice looked pretty in pink and blue.

I loved that little face peeking out from under the hood. This was one of my favorite pictures of all time.

Diane had Leanne and Candice -- two beautiful daughters.

Leanne was Diane's first born. I loved their bangs.

She was up to something. I could tell by that look -- mysterious and daring.

Diane with dark glasses

Diane rocked some cool, dark glasses.

Diane was one of Charlie's daughters. She was a lot like her dad -- people were attracted to them both.

Later on she married a Baptist preacher -- which turned out to be a good match.

Candice had a sense about fashion. Candice was also a loving child with a very tender heart. She used to put me to sleep by brushing my hair. She had a gentle touch.

In my mind's eye, Candice is still nine or ten years old. I see pictures of her with two children on Facebook and realize how fast time flies.

Beautiful bride in wedding dress

Candice and Keenan -- June 30, 2007

Candice made a beautiful bride and I love her dress.
